As a WorkWell NYC Ambassador, you can help employees take action to prevent the flu. This year, it is more important than ever to protect ourselves and our colleagues against the flu. Not only will the flu shot reduce your risk of developing and spreading the flu, it will also help to ensure that NYC’s health care resources can be conserved for those most in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
While it is more important than ever to get a flu shot this year, this year’s free flu shot campaign will look different than normal, due to the limited number of employees working onsite.
As a WorkWell NYC ambassador, we are counting on YOU to spread the word to your colleagues about the importance of getting vaccinated this year. You can find promotional materials and all the information you need to get started below.
This Year's Free Flu Shot Campaign
There will be 3 ways your employees can get their free flu shot this year:

WorkWell NYC clinics: This year, WorkWell NYC will host a series of centralized WorkWell NYC clinics at key large worksites in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. These clinics will be open to ALL City employees, regardless of agency or work location.

Participating pharmacies: All employees, dependents and pre-Medicare retirees covered by City health benefits can get flu shots free of cost at a participating pharmacy. Find a pharmacy near you here.

In-network medical offices and clinics: All employees, dependents and pre-Medicare retirees covered by City health benefits can get flu shots free of cost at an in-network physician’s office. The co-pay will be waived if the sole purpose of your visit is to get your flu shot.
Please note: this year, worksite clinics will only be available for worksites with 200 or more employees onsite at a given time. If your site meets these criteria and you are interested in hosting a clinic, please fill out this survey and WorkWell NYC staff will follow up with you directly.
