Let's Get Moving, NYC!
WorkWell NYC and NYC Parks have teamed up with New York Road Runners to bring back MoveNYC – an exclusive 5-kilometer race, just for City of New York employees! All skill levels and abilities are welcomed, so employees can walk, run, or roll with us on the evening of June 18 in Prospect Park!
Employees can sign up at nyc.gov/movenyc. Only 2,500 slots are available so slots are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

MoveNYC Spirit Awards
WorkWell NYC has organized the MoveNYC Spirit Awards as an opportunity for City employees to show their agency spirit, creative ability, and interpretation of the MoveNYC theme!
All Ambassadors are encouraged to rally together colleagues and participate to be crowned the 2020 Spirit Award winners! The Spirit Awards are open to all employees and participation in the 5K is not required.
There are two opportunities to compete:

Race Day Festivities
Aside from participating in the 5K, there are several other ways for employees to get involved!

Wellness Fair: WorkWell NYC will be hosting a fair with several of our wellness partners. Employees can stop by from 5:30 to 7pm to learn about the many resources and benefits available to them! This activity is open to all employees and participation in the 5K is not required.

Yoga in the Park: There will be 3 guided outdoor yoga sessions during the race. For more information, click here. This activity is open to all employees and participation in the 5K is not required. Employees are encouraged to bring their own mats, but a limited supply will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Volunteer: From keeping athletes hydrated at water stations to ensuring no one strays from the course, volunteers are the heart of the race. Interested employees can register to volunteer here.

Cheering Committee: All employees are invited to join us in the park to cheer on participants and enjoy the pre- and post-run festivities!
